Description

Learning a language can be an experience that transforms your life. Over 25 years of language learning experience has taught Rosetta Stone one thing: everyone has the ability to learn to read, write, and speak a language with confidence. Try the Rosetta Stone app yourself for free. Many online language learning apps will promise that you can learn a language in just a few minutes a day. However, there is a significant difference between memorizing vocabulary lists and speaking a language with confidence. Learning a language is about more than just the words. One of the mistakes new language learners make is treating language as an object or an end goal instead of as an experience. Ditch the books, translator, and dictionary, and surround yourself with a language whenever, wherever with the Rosetta Stone mobile app. RECENT AWARDS • 2019 PCMag Editors’ Choice • 2019 Tabby Awards Winner • 2019 Best Mobile App Awards: Best Designed App and Best Overall App Rosetta Stone has taught millions of people new languages, and you’re next. Compared to other apps, it’s the most neat and comprehensive. It’s not as gamified or useful for 1 minute reviews or streaks. But it does leave no stones unturned and it’s trustworthy for first-class learning.

The whole reason I got this was so I could learn Farsi to communicate with my boyfriends grandmother. The language in the “beginner” unit is so far advanced that I can barely repeat what is being said. There is no symbol connection and I have no clue what it’s truly being said or written. Now, I know duo lingo is not the most advanced—a lot of people told me to use Rosetta Stone but I’ve done Duo’s Arabic lessons and I feel like I can understand and make the symbol connections at least, and speak and write a silly sentence better than I can with Rosetta Stone so far. Here, these are complete sentences they’re wanting you to repeat or choose the picture that matches when you’ve only learned what: cup, book, woman, man, girl, and boy are. There’s no symbol association before the lessons so I have absolutely no clue what the rest of the sentence says/means. Very frustrating.
  • Love the Repitition

So far the app is easy to use with few glitches. The content is great. I am learning not only vocabulary but also getting an introduction to conjugation.
  • No option to pause and study?

Could you please make it an option to move to the next page of a lesson when you are ready? I would love to jot down notes or study some sentences more carefully but I am not able to because the page just switches over to the next one.

There is no consistent way to easily translate words while doing lessons.
  • Very disappointed.

This app doesn’t work in portrait mode on iPhone and iPad, which is substandard. This app is a poorly executed wrapper of the web version. I can’t get the audio or microphone to work on iOS17. I will be requesting a refund.
  • Happy to be learning again

I did this years ago and I liked how it works. I am glad to be doing it again. I am supposed at how much I remember.
