It has a lot better questions and more of them. Will definitely help you either learn, or remember old content.

I have found this app to be extremely useful in prepping for my NREMT exam. It points out a lot of small stuff that I had either glanced over or forgotten. The only downside is that I can’t imagine this app is useful at all unless you pay for the premium version. I understand that they have to make money but it is a hefty penny. All in all, very good app and we will see how well it treats me when I test!

Just passed my NREMT cognitive exam today thanks to Pocket Prep! The questions 1000 question bank is so useful and the descriptions for when you get the answer wrong help.

I’ve been out of school since may and just took the exam yesterday. I did no studying until 2-3 weeks ago. This is such a great resource and provides better feedback than other apps (looking at you Limmer).

I took the EMT course a year ago. I used the app for about a week, crammed, and passed the NREMT. Definitely worth it for the premium!

My first attempt at the NREMT was unsuccessful, so a friend recommended this app to me and told me to make sure I take the 3 mock exams. I passed on the second attempt and I scored within the top 3%. This app works but it only helps if you let it.

I had to take my nremt 3 times but i finally passed!!! I used this to study the 3rd time and i think it really helped me pass. I also used a Crash Course EMT book I bought off amazon and read the whole thing. Get this app, study your butt off study for a month if you can everyday and you WILL PASS. I believe in you 🙌🏼
  • Amazing test prep from EMT-B to FP-C

This review has been a long time coming. I originally got turned on to Pocket Prep for my AEMT test which I passed on the first try in 2018. Following that, I used it to prepare for my Paramedic which was another first time pass in 2021. Finally, I just first time passed my FP-C this week. Pocket Prep has been there every step of the way. For AEMT and Paramedic, I would say that the questions posed in the app were almost identical to those on the actual test as far as content and composition. Pocket Prep was the only test prep tool I used for those tests outside of the courses themselves. For the FP-C, I would say that the questions in the app are a little bit simpler than the actual test but really help nail in the memorization type knowledge. It is almost completely devoid of IABP tracings, head and chest CTs, 12 leads, and related content that you will be expected to know for the exam. I would also say that some of the questions from the ASTNA textbook were obviously not FP-C testable as they related more to nursing theory and crazy acronyms unrelated to patient care. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you see it. Explanations are also spot on and provide reference textbooks that you can use to study. Again, for the FP-C, I highly recommend using a prep course (I used IAMED online) and I also recommend the practice tests from FlightBridgeED. I would argue that their mock exams were equivalent to the actual test and reveal where Pocket Prep comes in a bit short. That being said, our phones are always on us and being able to bang out a quick 10 is better than spending that time scrolling. For the record, I did 661 FP-C questions with a 71% average, 674 Paramedic questions with a 71% average, and my AEMT stats seem to be lost to time. Overall, I cannot recommend Pocket Prep highly enough and good luck on your upcoming exam!
