I can’t create any playgrounds. I’m a Pro user; I’ve tried all the playground templates but nothing happens when you select them in the app. iPhone X - iOS 17.0.1.

I love this app! I have always been trying to get into programming so when I realized I had to drop a computer science class I thought I wouldn’t get anywhere with programming. But then magical Mimo came along and changed that! It’s quick, fun and easy. It uses the duolingo approach… a little too much like the duolingo approach. I am learning Spanish and Italian and Duolingo has literally kept me struggling to put in a lesson to keep my streak. I think Mimo will do the same…which I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. It’s productive though, but it has a leaderboard with different leagues, streak freezes, different icons for the app, points, and even a widget to put on your screen for your streak…like duolingo.

I tried the code academy app for python and was sorely disappointed—this app has excellent user interface and is well worth subscription price in my opinion. You can set your level experience at the beginning and it tailors detail to where you’re starting from. Can’t wait to use this on my commute.

Pay to win and if you miss questions you don’t get the opportunity to progress until your hearts refill in the free version. Anyone who thinks tapping is an effective way to learn how yo code you are their target audience, they just want to take your money and that’s all the app does - get you to transition to the paid version under the guise of a new in demand and lucrative profession.
  • Better than Sololearn

I tried both and I prefer this over Sololearn.

I had to take intro to programming twice for my IT degree. I’ve learned more with this app than either semester I paid hundreds for. I struggled with the software that was given to me to help me learn, especially considering it was LICENSED. I love the tiny explanations added to each answer on Mimo. My only gripe is the limited section of programming languages; I’d love to use this app to learn C++ or C# instead of codecademy
  • Awesome App

Thank you for allowing people like myself with no background in computer science to be able to learn basic coding all the way up to python and beyond, which will allow one to work with AI more intimately and effectively.
