    Some of the instructors and classes are great - I haven’t tried every course but really like Jeffrey Allen. The main reason for my bad review is that some of the classes are basically The Secret / prosperity gospel about how getting rich is the best thing you can do in life. They also have new classes coming from Elon Musk’s mom… if the class was ‘how to get rich off blood diamonds and raise children to be world famous con men’ she would be eminently qualified to teach it. But yeah as soon as you associate yourself with the Musk clan, you’ve lost me.

    I have no complaints other than that I've changed my mind and want my money back. Just don't have the time to focus on the program right now. For some reason the refund process (they're using bill.com to facilitate it) has taken a long time. According to bill.com, Mindvalley has a charge of $598 overdue. I'd like that back as soon as possible. I'm happy they at least know how much they need to refund me.

    Original review below. Downgrading further to 1 star for the following reasons. The developer response does not apply to my course since it doesn’t show up under Quests and having to unlock my phone and click play for every one of the 60+ lessons in my course is ridiculous. The lessons cannot be downloaded in advance so the app cannot be used offline. Pop up ads for crap I am never interested in cannot be disabled and the same ads keep appearing. Not what I’m looking for when I’m about to meditate. An ad for an AI summit (as if this is where anyone would come to learn about AI) that was over months ago looks like it will now clutter my list of courses forever. The only option for me seems to be to record the audio lessons of my course and delete this horrible marketing app. Unless I want to become Irresistibly Sexy, then I’ll be back to sign up for that course. SMH Original review: Wide range of content (great to poor) and low quality delivery Some really good content (Silva Life System), and some really bad content (Lee Holden’s watered down Qigong). Though to be fair, anyone improving any aspect of their life is usually good. From the perspective of someone who just wants to go through a course, the app is very poorly designed. It always defaults to the “Today” page where they try to sell you more courses. Clicking on Programs, you won’t see your current course in the “Continue” list, instead you’ll see default course you never started. You have to scroll over to courses and then click on the course you want to continue. Worst of all, your place is not saved so you have to scroll down to find the lesson you’re on and start it over, even if you were partially done. Then, once the lesson is complete, even if it’s only a 60 second introduction, the next lesson is not played automatically. You have to manually start every lesson. Just a horribly poor design and the entire platform is built to sell you more stuff, NOT to help you get through the course you paid for. I’m using it because I have no choice.

    I’ve been with Mindvalley for many years and I have purchased the products before there was a membership. I was supplied to digital and the physical products I spent over $1000 on these products . Every time I unsubscribe from the membership they take my pay programs away and then I have to contact Support . It gets annoying.

    Great app—but there is a bug, it asks about my gender and i reply—prefer not to say. It says Okay done. Then everyday i open the app it asks about my gender again like we haven’t had this conversation

  • I miss Soulvana

    Soulvana was the meditation app that they had before and just combined into this app. I really preferred Soulvana. I used to use it all the time. It focused on what I want which is spiritual meditations and I just really liked the whole set up and aesthetic - had a more mystical feel. This app feels much more business spiritual if you get what I mean. Kinda like a spiritual silicone valley vibe - maybe that’s why they named it this way. Anyway, I don’t love that. But the worst thing is the price. It’s an insanely huge amount for me ($500 for a yearly subscription) and there are no lower tier offers - I don’t consider $50 a month a low tier offer which is the least amount you might pay.

    the product was okay, but i canceled my subscription and have received SIX additional attempted charges to my card. customer service is a robot and i wish i never got involved. i do not recommend this product.
