  • Good but the community makes it worse

    This game holds the most nostalgia for me, I've been playing since 2017. I took a break, then came back in 2020 during the pandemic. It used to hold a sense of magic. I remember when Club Geoz collapsed during the Fall season, and while I know the reason why was because AJHQ wanted a new building there instead (Alpha Headquarters), they added more story. Also, phantoms (enemies of the animals of Jamaa) would always cause trouble. You can join a pack with other jammers, and you can choose which alpha's pack you want to be in. There are 6 different alphas that protect Jamaa, with Mira and Zios being the ones who created this world. That is the basic gist of it, and it's very fun at first, until you realize how toxic the community is. All people want to do is trade, or sell their stuff for sapphires. Instead of wanting to make friends, they just want to have the rarest items. For example, the princess necklace is an item jammers start with, and that item is extremely common. Another item, let's say a 'white tip raccoon tail' is highly valued. People judge a jammer based on how 'rare' they are, and some very toxic people scam others of their items, or even hijack accounts to get sapphires, gems, and items. Although AJHQ has tried their best to make jammers aware of scamming, and hacking, scammers and hackers are everywhere. I've been a victim of a scam. My favorite pet, a midnight kitty, was scammed using the method 'trust trading', which is trading someone an item and then they trade it back. I know many jammers have worked hard for their rares, but I sometimes wish all items were available in store. All people focus on is TRADING. There was a lot of roleplaying before the new trade system and the my shops came in, but I rarely find roleplays anymore. The people who used to dress up their den(house) for roleplays either quit or started to focus on being more rare. My suggestion to Wildworks is to somehow make it so the community focuses less on trading and selling, and more on actually socializing with other jammers. Also, please do more in depth story! I don't mean parties (because those are only visited by jammers that haven't been hit with the trading craze yet or for the exclusive items), but events like Jamaa being overrun by phantoms again, or NPCs being more interactive. I, for now, will take another break from AJ, because I've been burnt out by the community. It would be extremely fun if phantoms could actually steal items or sapphires, then jammers would have to track that phantom down using clues to get it back.

    So I’m new and I’m just trying to get past the den part of the whole log in thing and it always comes up with like a error and I can’t do anything but get out and try again. Idk if it’s the game or like if there is anything wrong but I just want to try the game not be stuck on a choose your den part with a black screen and a error.

    I think this game is great I truly love It it’s kind of hard to earn sapphires and I have 0 I have had it for a month but it amazing so far I LOVE IT

    I love this game so much! In my opinion, you can never grow to old for this game! I love how simple the concept of this game is, but how many small details get added. I would love if the Siamese cat got brought back. I know there’s a bundle but I’m broke 🤪 So, please put this review into consideration!

    This game is the best liek I love it so much but enoug about that the painting game is fun but it’s hard to make comms on a mobile bc u have to go back in and out every time u wanna see the outfit that ur making a comm for and I have to remember there-he-she-oc and I can forgot stuff so yeah please aj make it so that way u can search up users and look at the player card in painting game ty for reading -sorry if I misspelled

    I tried to buy a snowy glider this evening, and was surprised by the last cyan color bot changing. I can’t fix it and I’m unable to customize the last color! The first two (white and pale blue) seem to be working fine. But the cyan won’t change! Pls help I REALLY want a customized glider! (Edit) THANK YOU! You made my day AJHQ! I was worried my device had a glitch! Also worried you ppl would give me a useless answer. But you didn’t! I have a snowy glider!!!!! Edit #2: Please make an update where the owner (not leader, owner) of a pack can permanently BAN a jammer from their pack, it can be unbanned too. I have had some… troubles in my pack, and they keep coming back. I wish they were banned, they kind of bullied the entire pack + spammed the chat. Betsy154 and Hattie154. Prob main & spare with the “154” thing. Tysm if you can do this, a slightly frustrated jammer. (Who wants those two gone forever) LAST EDIT: I’m quitting the game because sadly I got bored of sitting around and trying to trade. This game was my favorite for a year or so, so I thank you for creating it! One thing that me and quite a few other jammers I’ve spoken to have noted as annoying and actually kind of un-creative are the re-colors. They make me think that AJHQ is getting so desperate that they can’t even think of any new animals other than the quokka, anteater, and another one maybe? But the animals now just look much less… thought through than the older creatures. (Kangaroo was fantastic though.) Maybe try a pangolin, rattlesnake/cobra, or another more rare creature? That and the now boring effects of the game is why I’m quitting. Sincerely, Bluescout10

    So AJHQ I completely understand why you make something’s for real money. Especially animals, BUT I was wondering if you could be able to TRADE animals! I know this may be a really interesting idea, but at the same time it would help jammers (who can’t spend real money) get their DREAM animals. Especially me, this update would make animal jam different. But, here are something’s that may make this seem more appealing. You obviously can trade them but (just like pets) you can’t put them on your wishlist, they can be sold but prices would go up quickly. (Example) So say I was a jammer that really wanted a maned wolf (which I am) another jammer could put an animal on their trade and the other jammer could maybe trade another animal for their dream animal! In a year or so this could be true! In my opinion it would make a lot of jammers happy! Also, what if you made the cat and wolf package go for 300 or 250 sapphires! May seem funny but it would help with us non-money spending jammers! Thank you.

    I think this game is GREAT also I think your next animal should be another flying one I think it should be the puffin to suit mount shiveer and for the puffin should be a mount shiveer vibe too. My next suggestion is to make a new house called the shiveer cabin and my last request is that you should make an amulet for the Pegasus armor cus it looks weird without one. That’s all

    OMG this game is soooooo much fun, it is everything! You can play with your friends, make new ones, adopt cute pets and more! There is literally only 2 things I would change . Why AJ is the world’s best game. 1. I would love for there to be more pack dens. 2. Sapphires cost real money (it’s kinda cheap but still) but before I go I would like u to know that I disagree with most of the other replies, it seems like THEY aren’t happy with some stuff and so they put that in their review as if to persuade others and that’s not right.That’s all, I LOOOVE this game!
